The US’s third largest auto manufacturer, Chrysler has been making cars since 1924. It was the first to consider aerodynamics in its vehicle design and to introduce unibody construction. Chrysler sells vehicles under the names of Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, and Jeep, ranging from passenger vehicles to minivans, crossovers, and trucks. It has even dabbled in electric vehicles. Always known for well, made vehicles, Chrysler’s financial troubles have often gained more recognition than the fine automobiles they manufacture. They are probably also the only one of the big three who’s CEO (Lee Iacocca) became a national celebrity.
