Eagle was actually an AMC vehicle, but Chrysler took the name when it bought out AMC in 1987, and stopped making them ten years later. The Eagle Talon is probably the most remembered, but there were others such as the Vision and Premiere and Medallion. The Eagle never seemed to take off, probably because it was never properly marketed. Often Eagles were displayed alongside Jeep vehicles. Since they had little in common, those shopping for the popular Jeep were not interested in the Eagle. Additionally, the vehicles carrying the Eagle name were diverse and were never able to grab a share of the market.
