In 1935, from this beginning, Jaguar was born. During the war years William Lyons’ company was involved in military production but in 1948 the XK120 at the Motor Show boasting a 160 BHP engine. The rest is automotive and racing history. Now Jaguar produces an XK, XJ and XF series of vehicles and its R designation.
