Ferruccio Lamborghini, a self-made man, wanted to own the finest Grand Touring Car. He liked his Ferrari, but thought it to rough and loud. What else was there to do? He built it. In 1963, Mr. Lamborghini’s vision rolled off the assembly line as the 350 GT and the 400 GT. Since that time, Lamborghini has designed and built high end, V12 and V10 Touring Cars for the very selective and very rich. It has not always been easy; Lamborghini has suffered in bad economies. While people might need a vehicle, no one really needs a Lamborghini. Like Ferruccio himself, you have to have a passion for them.
