The slogan Excellence Through Passion, may have described the five Maserati brothers exactly. At the turn of the 20th century, they were all involved with racing in some form or another. Since the brothers sold the company to Orsi in 1937, the Maserati Company has changed hands many times, with owners including both Ferrari and Fiat. While the initial Maseratis were racecars, eventually, the jump was made to luxury passenger vehicles. Today the name Maserati brings images of Italian Luxury and Speed. The most familiar name on the list of Maserati cars is probably the Gran Turismo.
