Scion is part of Toyota, and was created to grab the generation “y” niche, with vehicles named xA, xB, ccX (aka tC) xD etc. Sporty and relatively inexpensive, the Scion has been on the scene since 2002. Toyota’s plan is for Scion to remain on the cutting edge of technology and original advances in order to keep the interest of the younger generation. Additionally, Scion is marketed a little differently, with the use of “Pure Price” which means that whatever price is posted, wherever it is posted, is the price the consumer will pay, including all the things most of us understand to be extra, such as insurance, accessories, etc...
