Japanese owned Toyota is one on the largest car makers in the world. Established in 1937, they have been selling cars in the US since the 1950s. Known for light trucks and small cars, Toyota has branched out into larger vehicles including the pickup truck Tundra. Still the most popular offerings are probably the Corolla, Camry and the hybrid, Prius. Toyota is also the creator of the luxury car, Lexus and the generation X targeted Scion. Over the last few years, Toyota has experienced financial difficulties more than likely exacerbated by the recalls that have recently plagued the automaker.
